Prayer of the Week

March 2

Father,

I thank you for this week! I thank you for the wisdom and knowledge to start this week with you! Thank you for being my God and for sending the Holy Spirit to lead guid, comfort and direct me. To You be glory and praise!

Our Father in heaven, thank you that you are my father, and I get to call your father! You cover me, you protect me, you heal me, you watch over me, you lead me, you guide me, you are tender towards me, and you provide for me. You are my refuge and my fortress, my strong tower; You know what is ahead for me this week and you have already provided because you have gone before me. Hallelujah!

Hallowed be your name. I praise you for you are holy! The Most Holy one! Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty who was, and is and is to come! I praise Your holy name! My soul praises you and lifts you high! To You be glory and praise! Your Kingdom come and thy will be done on earth as is done heaven! Thank you Jesus for you have come to live inside of me! Hallelujah! You are my shepherd, you lead and guide me and therefore I lack nothing in any area of my life this week! As I obey you, I will have complete rest and restoration. I will fear nothing because you are with me!

Give me this day and my daily bread. I pray for clarity of thought, my mind free from confusion and suspended matter. Continuity of thinking, continued, uninterrupted thinking without distractions, staying focused on what you have before me with accuracy on all that I am to do. Moving in conformity towards the truth without error as the Holy Spirit directs me. I pray for a consistent daily time of worship, praise and sitting with you.

And forgive my debts as I also have forgiven my debtors. Father, remind me of those I have not forgiven, I repent of my sin and any and all that I have done wrong. Your word says that not one is righteous, so I seek forgiveness of all known and unknown sins. Help me not to yield to temptation, but deliver me from evil.

For thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever! You are God alone; there is no other God, and there never has been, and there never will be. You are the Lord, and there is no other Savior. From eternity to eternity, You alone are God. All honor and glory belongs to You forever an ever! You are the eternal King, the unseen One who never dies; You alone are God, Yours is the Kingdom and the power and the glory forever. In Jesus’ Name, amen (excerpt from Praying to Change Your Life, Suzette T. Caldwell.)

Prayer of the Week

February 17

Great Jehovah! All glory and praise to you! I come before you with thanksgiving and praise! My soul rejoices and cries out to you Hallelujah! I’ve just come to sit at your throne. Father, I have come to honor you. I’ve come to listen and to be in your presence. I don’t want anything at all, I just want you to know I am here and I love you. My ears are open to hear you speak to me. You have invited me to sit with you.

I know that you have put this desire in my heart because in truth you are drawing me closer to you. You have given me the desire of your heart to want to sit with you because in truth you want to sit with me. I love that you give me your desire and I think it is me wanting to come to you. Lord my ears are open, my heart is ready and I am excited for what you want to say to me. Even if I am just sitting in the quietness with you, my soul rejoices for this moment alone with you! To you be glory and praise…

The Blessing

The Holy Spirit woke me up early in the morning with the song “The Blessing” on my heart. At the time I did not know that was the name of the song. I had heard the melody a few days earlier but didn’t know the words. This morning, I knew I needed to find out what the song was saying.

I love how God works. He never gives us everything at once but draws us closer and closer to Himself. He was starting a conversation with me, and He invited me to engage. The melody was the invitation. When I went to research the words, He started talking. I sat and let the melody He had put in my heart play over and over, and eventually a line of the song became clear. See, I was sitting listening to God, He was pouring out His blessing on me and I had no idea what He was doing. He is so good and loves us so much!

God is always giving us direction; He has a daily word for each of us. He is our commander! In prayer He tells us to ask for our daily bread. The bread is His Word, which gives us instructions and clarity on our assignment for the day. That morning I received encouragement and confidence in Him and in who I was in Him.

The song is written from multiple scriptures:

‘“The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace”’ (Numbers 6:24-26).

“Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments” (Deuteronomy 7:9-10).

“The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged” (Deuteronomy 31:8).

And all who are in agreement with those words, we say amen!

Affirmations: Matthew 10:20; Luke 24:32; Ephesians 6:19, Isaiah 55:11

Hallelujah! Father my soul rejoices because you are so good! Thank you so much Jehovah for loving me! Thank you for just being the truly righteous, loving God! There is none like you! Prayer of the Week

January 13

I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and curse. Therefore choose life, that you and your offspring may live. Deuteronomy 30:19, ESV

Adonai, To you be glory and praise! My soul worships you and praises your name! Because of what Yeshua did on the cross I have a choice. I can choose to live with you. I no longer have to live a life that leads to curses and eternal death. But I get the choice to choose life. You invited me, you hand selected me and brought me to you. Praise your holy name! Thank you for this moment of just sitting with you and saying, “Yes!” again. Yes to everything you ask, yes to laying down my will, yes to my soul being sold out to you. Yes to serving you with my whole heart, yes to loving you, my neighbors and praying for my enemies. I give you my yes!

Paris you holy name! My commitment is to you and no one else. I am sold out to you! Hallelujah Jesus! Thank you! Glory and praise be to your name. Oh magnify the lord with me, let us exalt his name together for he is worthy to be praised!  Lift up your heads, O gates! And be lifted up, O ancient doors, that the king of glory may come in. Who is this King of glory? The LORD, strong and mighty, the LORD, mighty in battle! Lift up your heads, O gates! And lift them up, O ancient doors that the King of glory may come in. Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory!

For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and a self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7

Adonai! Hallelujah! I give you praise and I worship you! You have not withheld anything from me. You created me and you own me and I am yours. Every thought of mine you know and my soul belongs to you. You remember not my wrongs for they are covered by your blood. You have poured your righteousness into me. I am so grateful that you did not give me a spirit of fear and every time fear shows up in my life it is a reminder that this thing is not from you. Hallelujah! You have given me a spirit of power, of love and of a sound mind. I thank you that my mind is sound. I thank you that I have your spirit. I thank you that your love dwells in me and all over me. I thank you for a sharp self—disciplined mind that is always seeking to obey you.

I praise you that all these blessing are because of you. I praise you that you are the righteous God! There is no one righteous, but you! I praise you that you are the God of peace, Jehovah Shalom and that peace sits in my soul! I praise you for being ELOHIM the creator of the universe and there is not a soul like you. The Lord gives strength to his people; the Lord blesses his people with peace. Psalm 29:11, NIV

Father, God!

I celebrate you and the peace that you have brought to this world! There is joy and peace only because of you! Hallelujah! My soul sits back and rejoices because of all that you have done. My mind can’t even begin to comprehend your goodness, but I know that I sit in this space because of you. Prayer for the Week

December 16

To you, Lord, I call. You are my Rock, do not turn a deaf ear to me. For if you remain silent, I will be like those who go down to the pit. Hear my cry for mercy as I call to you for help, as I lift up my hands toward your Most Holy Place. Do not drag me away with the wicked, with those who do evil, who speak cordially with their neighbors, but harbor malice in their hearts. Repay them for their deeds and for their evil work. Repay them for what their hands have done and bring back on them what they deserve.

Because they have no regard for the deeds of the Lord and what his hands have done, he will tear them down and never build them up again. Praise be to the Lord, for he has heard my cry for mercy. The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him. The Lord is the strength of his people, a fortress of salvation for his anointed one. Save your people and bless your inheritance; be their shepherd and carry them forever. Psalm 28, NIV

Prayer of the Week

December 9

Love each other as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends. John 15:12-13

ELOHIM,

Thank you for your plan from the beginning of time. Thank you that you love all that you created. Thank you for you knew the world would turn evil, but it has never changed your love. Scriptures says that you are Lord and you change not! I praise your Holy name! I praise you, God that even though I see evil all around me, you see the love you have placed inside each individual. I pray for transformation in my soul so that I can love as you have said.

You have given me the mind of Christ through the Holy Spirit, and I pray that as you work through me the unconditional love of you will flow uncontrollably so that all who encounter me will literally be standing before you. I surrender all to you. Your will is my will and your desires are my desires. Have your complete way in me! May the light of God be always on in me. To you be glory and praise in Jesus’ name, .amen.

Prayer of the Week

November 25

The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. Lamentations 3:22, ESV

Holy Father,

When I read the scripture above gratitude and gratefulness fill my soul. I don’t know how to say thank you for your goodness. The words “thank you” just don’t seem to be enough to express how grateful I am. Your love, your generosity, your kindness, leaves me speechless! When I think about your goodness and all you have done for me, I am consumed by your presence and goodness! My soul is overwhelmed! Hallelujah to such a wonderful God!

Your love is unfailing, your kindness never ends, my soul is overwhelmed in the joy of you. Prayer of the Week

November 18

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not be terrified or dismayed (intimidated), for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9, AMP

Father,

I love that you are the same God with me that was with Joshua! The same words you gave to him when he was preparing to lead the people into the promise land are the same commands you have given to me today!

You are not just suggesting for me to not be afraid, you are commanding that I not fear anything that comes against me. You are assuring me that you are with me! I praise your holy name. My ever-present God Jehovah Shammah, you are here! You are with me! You are inside of me Immanuel!  You were in the midst with Joshua and had already given them the promised land they were just required to walk with you and take what was theirs.

I thank you for everything that you promised me sits right before me. I give you glory and praise! I pray to walk in all the confidence, strength and power you have already poured inside of me. Father I pray that I will run like David did against Goliath to fulfill what you have laid before me.

Thank you that I am not alone and I can do all that you have instructed me to. I give you glory and praise in Jesus name amen.

Affirmations: Matthew 10:20; Luke 24:32; Ephesians 6:19, Isaiah 55:11

Prayer of the Week

November 11

Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God 1John 4:7, ESV

Dear Father,

Thank you that you have given me the example of love. You love me in ways that I could have never imagined. Daily you give me your grace and mercy. You died for all of my sins before I was ever born! You knew me before I even knew myself and loved me. Hallelujah! I am loved, protected and cared for by you! Hallelujah!

You have instructed me to love others the same way you have loved me. Father the desire of my heart is to follow all of your instructions. I know I can’t give this kind of love in my own strength, for I will fail every time. I seek to draw into this new dimension of love with you so that all I am is a walking spirit of love and when anyone encounters me they encounter you.

I know that the world is ripe for your love. The harvest is low hanging fruit desperately needing the only love that can heal the brokenness in their soul. I pray that my prejudices and self righteous judgment thoughts will be crushed. I pray to be completely transformed and changed so that the supernatural indwelling of you comes forward and that all the world encounters from me is you. In Jesus’ name amen.

Affirmations: Matthew 10:20; Luke 24:32; Ephesians 6:19, Isaiah 55:11

Prayer of the Week

November 4

Today’s prayer is a prayer of thanks, taken from Psalm 136. I woke up one morning and God had this song in my head, “O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good.” I typed those words into my computer and Psalm 136 came up. The more I read the psalm, the more overjoyed my soul became!

There was a part of the scripture that I needed clarity. It spoke about God slaying the famous kings Sihon, king of the Amorites and Og, King of Bashan. In my study I found that Sihon king of the Amorites was very powerful and had taken the land from the Moabites. Remember the Moabites came from the lineage of Abraham’s nephew, Lot. This king had come and literally taken everything away from the Moabites. When Moses and the Israelites were on their way to the promise land they asked the King Sihon if they could pass peacefully through their land. King Sihon said no and came out with all of his army to defeat the Israelites. But God gave victory to the Israelites. This battle was so victorious that it was heard about in Jericho. Remember Rehab told the spies how the hearts of those in their city melted in fear of the Israelites when they heard about the victory of king of Sihon and king Og? Joshua 2:8-11 God gave the Israelites the same victory over the powerful king Og of Bashan! Look at how our God takes care of his own! Oh give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good!

O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever. O give thanks unto the God of gods: for his mercy endureth for ever. O give thanks to the Lord of lords: for his mercy endureth for ever. To him who alone doeth great wonders: for his mercy endureth for ever. To him that by wisdom made the heavens: for his mercy endureth for ever. To him that stretched out the earth above the waters: for his mercy endureth for ever. To him that made great lights: for his mercy endureth for ever: The sun to rule by day: for his mercy endureth for ever: The moon and stars to rule by night: for his mercy endureth for ever.

To him that smote Egypt in their firstborn: for his mercy endureth for ever: And brought out Israel from among them: for his mercy endureth for ever: With a strong hand, and with a stretched out arm: for his mercy endureth for ever. To him which divided the Red sea into parts: for his mercy endureth for ever: And made Israel to pass through the midst of it: for his mercy endureth for ever: But overthrew Pharaoh and his host in the Red sea: for his mercy endureth for ever. To him which led his people through the wilderness: for his mercy endureth for ever.

To him which smote great kings: for his mercy endureth for ever: And slew famous kings: for his mercy endureth for ever: Sihon king of the Amorites: for his mercy endureth for ever: And Og the king of Bashan: for his mercy endureth for ever: And gave their land for an heritage: for his mercy endureth for ever: Even an heritage unto Israel his servant: for his mercy endureth for ever. Who remembered us in our low estate: for his mercy endureth for ever: And hath redeemed us from our enemies: for his mercy endureth for ever. Who giveth food to all flesh: for his mercy endureth for ever. O give thanks unto the God of heaven: for his mercy endureth for ever. Psalm 136
