Prayers for the Week

December 2

My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest. Exodus 33:14

Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, to You my King! Glory be to your name! I love your presence and I love that you give me rest. I receive so much more when I sit in your presence than I could ever articulate! What a wonderful God you are! Praise and glory be to your name.

You teach me your decrees and I keep them to the end. You give me understanding and I keep your law, and obey it with all my heart. You direct me in the path of your commands, for there I receive delight. You turn my heart towards your statutes and not toward selfish gain. You turn my eyes away from worthless things. You renew my life according to your word. You fulfill your promises to me your servant, so that I reverence you. 

My God, my God, how I praise you! Your unfailing love always comes to me and I trust in your word! Your word is good and it never fails for I have put my hope in your laws. You are my portion, O Lord; I have promised to obey your words and I have sought your face with all my heart. Thank you for your graciousness that you have given me and the promises that you have kept towards me! I am forever grateful that your presence never leaves me and you are my most trusted advisor! To your be glory and praise for you are the only place I can have total rest, total transparency with complete peace, joy and restoration! In your name I give thanks Amen and amen.
